Coactive to Demonstrate Internet-Enabled Building Automation at AHR
Coactive to Exhibit and Announce New Product News at Dallas Show
SAUSALITO, Calif, - January 14, 2000, -- Coactive Networks, the leader in connecting open control systems to Internet technologies, will demonstrate its Coactive Connector® 1000 and other products at the AHR Expo, February 7-9 in Dallas, Texas (Booth # 2458). The company will also make a new product announcement at the show.
Building automation, security, equipment monitoring, and energy management systems use the Connector 1000 as a single integrated solution for remote access, local supervisory control, and alarms, all with a Web interface. Data that was previously accessible only to controls personnel is now available to the rest of the enterprise in a form easily understood and integrated into business processes. Control systems are one of the final sources of information to link with Internet technologies and with the Web, which has become the preferred interface to information of all kinds. The Connector 1000 accomplishes this interface, giving facilities managers and system engineers a way to set up universal access for monitoring, control, and remote diagnostics while taking advantage of any type of network or Internet access already in place.
Coactive Networks is a leading provider of open solutions for connecting control systems to enterprise networks and the Internet. The company offers a full line of routers, thin servers, and gateways for creating powerful next-generation applications, and is the market leader in providing connectivity solutions for EIA-709 (LonWorks), the leading control network. Coactive is a privately held corporation based in Sausalito, CA. Detailed information on Coactive products, news announcements, seminars, training, and support is available on the World Wide Web at http://www.coactive.com.
