With iC Niagara Suite, we provide a complete set of tools for configuring, programming, commissioning, and maintaining the entire BMS system. It combines remote access and cloud backup, IoT connectors with MQTT, RESTful API, Haystack, and BACnet/SC, and supports integration with over 200 protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus, DALI, OPC, SNMP, OBIX, and many others. The built-in utilities enable seamless configuration of network actuators, unitary controllers, and I/O modules. As a long-standing OEM partner of Tridium, we maintain our own unique controllers powered by Niagara. At the same time, we offer a range of Niagara-enabled controllers with nano EDGE ENGINE embedded. Our product portfolio enables complete control and provides access to the system and applications, including controller programming, from a single location. This speeds up engineering, reduces the learning curve, and simplifies future servicing and maintenance.
At the center of our offering is the MAC36PRO, a multifunctional powered by a Niagara Framework controller and the technological heart of countless automation systems worldwide. MAC36 provides all the essential tools for an efficient and scalable building management system for both retrofits and new installations, including real-time HVAC control, security, programming, alarming, scheduling, trends, email notifications, and more. With native support for BACnet and Modbus, it provides unmatched flexibility and interoperability, empowering clients to integrate freely while staying prepared for future requirements.
Driving the next generation of distributed control is our in-house developed embedded software platform nano EDGE ENGINE, dedicated to EDGE Controllers, making them IoT-ready building devices with smart functionalities. It is currently available in our range of unitary controllers: RAC18-IP and VAV14-IP. The nano EDGE ENGINE allows real-time programming, making application development fast and intuitive. Due to its modularity and wide range of available libraries, the platform enables the development of applications ranging from simple control systems to rooftops, FCUs, VAVs, or AHUs. Thanks to multithreading, our platform supports more than one logic strategy on a single controller, allowing for versatile use of a single controller. For example, RAC18-IP can be used for FCU control in one application cycle, and lighting control in another, much faster (up to 100 ms) cycle.
The system will not be complete unless we enable the integration of dozens, and in the case of large systems, hundreds of field devices throughout the building. These include pumps, actuators, fans, valves, sensors, flow meters, thermostats, dampers or lighting circuits, and many others, all of which can be seamlessly connected and controlled through I/O modules. With a wide range of BACnet and Modbus I/O Modules, in IP and RS485 architectures, our modules will work in any new building and enable seamless integration in retrofits, futureproofing the architecture. Our I/O modules, valued for their durability and openness, remain central to thousands of automation installations around the world. They provide a reliable, flexible backbone for any control system, especially when interoperability is a must.
To complement this ecosystem, our portfolio includes a full range of valves and actuators designed for precise HVAC control. A prime example of our modernized approach are EBV Multiprotocol Energy Valvesand MVE-2-RS & MVC-2-RS Network Actuators, supporting BACnet and Modbus communication.
