Tridium has released a new white paper on Demand Response

Demand response is an energy management strategy where end users “respond” to energy market conditions with reductions in energy use during peak periods. The most effective DR program is one that is automated, providing reductions at critical times without manual intervention. Real-time connectivity to energy consuming equipment and electric metering technologies are features of Vykon that provide an unsurpassed DR technology.

Many times, utilities and grid operators fund these DR projects. In the last year, Long Island Power Authority, California Energy Commission, and PJM, have all funded DR programs. Because the momentum and opportunity is gaining, Tridium is happy to announce the new Demand Response White paper.
