LonWorksÒ Brochure Available
New materials offer insight into interoperability

MILWAUKEE - A new LonWorksÒ Integration Solution brochure is now available from Johnson Controls, Inc. The six-panel, four-color glossy brochure explains the benefits of complete LonWorks based building automation solutions. LonWorks permits interoperability by linking the LonWorks based equipment of different manufacturers. The NexSysÒ system, from Johnson Controls, makes it possible to integrate different HVAC, lighting and fire and security equipment into a single LonWorks network. United Rentals Partners with Johnson Controls

Control Solutions, Inc

MILWAUKEE - United Rentals, Inc., the largest equipment rental company in North America, recently signed a three-year consulting contract with Johnson Controls, Inc. The contract will help the company reduce the cost of operating and maintaining its buildings and related infrastructure, and reduce risks associated with the safety of its facilities. 

As part of its new contract, Johnson Controls will gather building systems equipment and vendor data from each of United Rentals approximately 740 branch locations. The data then will be consolidated to simplify procedures and resources for the company across all of its regions. 

In addition, Johnson Controls Global Operations Center located in Atlanta will offer round-the-clock assistance for the United Rentals branches providing rapid response for repairs and service to sites, buildings and related systems.
