Introduces SBC-VAV3 Controller
EXPORT, PA - American Auto-Matrix (AAM) is introducing a new version of its popular SBC-VAV variable air volume controller product line. The SBC-VAV3, part of the Evolution Series, is a pressure dependent VAV controller ideal for low-cost applications. It uses an integrated feedback actuator to adjust the damper position without the use of a flow or pressure sensor. The SBC-VAV3 has the full compliment of I/O found on AAM's other VAV controllers including 5 triac outputs, 1 universal input, 1 analog output and feedback actuator. The SBC-VAV3 controller works on existing Public Unitary Protocol (PUP) networks, and includes features like backwards compatibility with the American Auto-Matrix family of products, state-of-the-art surface mount technology, and zone temperature input with 15-bit resolution. The SBC-VAV model controllers are both variable air volume (VAV) and constant air volume (CAV) terminal box digital controllers. The SBC-VAV controllers work on existing Public Unitary Protocol (PUP) networks and utilize the industry's only graphically displayed temperature sensor, that can be used without the use of an I/O point on the controller. Features include true generation-to-generation compatibility with the American Auto-Matrix family of products, state-of-the-art surface mount technology and an integrated high-resolution airflow sensor. EXPORT, PA - American Auto-matrix is introducing its first wave of BACnet compatible controllers. Our Native Series products comply with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135-2001, BACnet. The Native Series is intended to give customers the interoperability they desire and the security of knowing they are not locked to a single vendor. The communications-intensive SAGEMAX area controller offers the flexibility of multiple communication protocols, including BACnet IP, BACnet Ethernet and BACnet MS/TP, as well as powerful trending, scheduling, alarming and programming capabilities, while the NB-ASC and NB-ASC(e) application selectable unitary controllers are used in heat pump, rooftop and fan coil applications. In addition, American Auto-Matrix is releasing its NB-VAVr, NB-VAVra, NB-VAVrf, NB-VAVta, and NB-VAVtf variable air volume (VAV) and constant air volume (CAV) terminal box unitary controllers. Also out for release is the NB-V3Tb and NB-V3Td unitary controllers that enable constant volume air handler units (AHU) to supply variable volumes of air. All Native Series products utilize the industry's only true graphical display temperature sensor - the SBC-STAT3 - which allows the user to change setpoints, place a system into occupied override and interface to the controller directly through the room sensor without the need for additional hardware or software. The SBC-STAT3 will also allow for up to four (4), nine (9) hour trends to be configured and displayed directly on the sensor display.
