Manchester, New Hampshire  – Teletrol Systems Inc., an industry leader in building automation technology, announced the release of its i-VAV software Version 1.3 which provides the latest intelligent energy management capabilities for the company’s TSC i-VAV unitary controllers. New features in Version 1.3 allow customers to lower energy costs and reduce installation times.

Teletrol’s TSC i-VAV combines advanced VAV control sequences with intelligent energy management algorithms in a dedicated, stand-alone digital controller. Switch-selectable, factory pre-programmed sequences include combinations for fan control with electric or hot water heat.

Teletrol’s i-VAV software version 1.3 contains new features, as well as refinements to existing features, to improve overall i-VAV functionality. New features addressing energy use reduction include Demand Limiting, which automatic disabling of all types of reheat, as well as the use of cooling airflow set points in all modes. Version 1.3 also adds support for series fan powered VAV boxes and provides improvements in control algorithms for managing electric and water heat to improve overall response times. To speed installation, Version 1.3 adds support for software configuration of sequence type and network address,
