Video, the Next Sensor for Factory Automation

Norwood, MA—August 15, 2008—Steve Rubin, president of Longwatch, will host a free webinar, “Video, the Next Sensor for Factory Automation,” on August 28, 2008, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time.

The webinar will discuss the emergence of new video technology, how it can impact your manufacturing or utility environment, the value of integrating video with your HMI/SCADA system, and how video can be integrated with process historians, alarms and other event information. It also covers ways to optimize surveillance video, how to acquire remote video (radios, phone lines, etc.), and applications in oil/gas, manufacturing, power, water and other industries. The webinar is interactive, so participants can ask questions via the Internet.
