EDSA Awarded Five Additional Patents for Power Analytics Software

Seven patents awarded in 2010

These bring the company’s total since March 2010 to seven patents for EDSA’s Paladin® family of software products, as the company expands its technological lead in the emerging field of Power Analytics™.

Systems and methods for real-time system monitoring and predictive analytics (Application number: 11/674994)
Systems and methods for determining protective device clearing times used for providing real-time predictions about arc flash events (Application number: 11/774396)
Systems and methods for predictive monitoring including real-time strength and security analysis in an electrical power distribution system (Application number: 11/734706)
Systems and methods for dynamic simulation of interruptible power supply solutions and their control logic systems (Application number: 11/775146)
Systems and methods for real-time device evaluation in an electrical power distribution system (Application number: 11/717378)

Patents awarded to EDSA earlier this year include:

Systems and methods for alarm filtering and management within a real-time data acquisition and monitoring environment (Patent number: 7,693,608)
System for comparing real-time data and modeling engine data to predict arc flash events (Patent number: 7,693,608)
