FREMONT, CA — December 19, 2008 — Daintree Networks, Inc. will feature its new ZigBee® kits at CES 2009 in the ZigBee Alliance pavilion, Booth 21719-5. on January 8 to 11, 2009 in Las Vegas.

Daintree Networks provides the industry’s most comprehensive solutions for the development and deployment of systems based on IEEE® 802.15.4™ and ZigBee. These new kits, based on Daintree’s MeshOperator™ platform, help ZigBee solution developers and providers to bring their products and services to market quickly and reliably.

“ZigBee is now quite a mature technology, and many people are wanting to take the next step and build ZigBee devices into broader applications and services,” said Jason Choong, VP of Marketing at Daintree Networks. “Daintree’s new kits are designed to help them do just that. Our Wireless Application Development Kit helps to develop a prototype or proof-of-concept for a new ZigBee application or service, and our Smart Energy Kit verifies and tests the operation of smart energy services and products.”

Both kits include Daintree’s Intelligent Management Gateway, which can be used to simulate any smart device (including a meter), making testing easier, more thorough, and often less expensive. For example, when used with the Smart Energy kit, the gateway can send smart energy commands over-the-air in the same way as an electric meter does to test services and products.

“We’ll also be demonstrating the latest release of our Sensor Network Analyzer, which has recently been enhanced to include a flexible decode engine,” said Jason. “Now, in addition to ZigBee, the SNA is able to decode many popular proprietary and standards-based network protocols, such as 6LoWPAN and other consumer electronic protocols.”

Information about Daintree’s MeshOperator and Sensor Network Analyzer can be found at www.daintree.net or by contacting sales@daintree.net.
