Industrial Control Communications, Inc. announces the addition of several new client and server drivers for the Millennium Series Gateway line of multiprotocol network gateways. With the addition of Johnson Controls Metasys N2, combined with existing support for BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP (among others), the Millennium Series line is well positioned to allow information to be transferred seamlessly among various Ethernet, fieldbus and RS-485 based networks with minimal configuration requirements.

new client and server driversSupported Ethernet Protocols
• Profinet IO
• EtherNet/IP (client and server)
• Modbus/TCP (client and server)
• Allen Bradley CSP (client and server)
• BACnet/IP (server)
• Mitsubishi MELSEC (client)
• EtherCATฎ

Supported RS-485 Protocols
• Modbus RTU (master and slave)
• BACnet MS/TP (client and server)
• Toshiba ASD (master)
• Johnson Controls Metasys N2 (slave)

Other Supported Protocols
• Profibus DP-V1
• DeviceNet

This product line has been exclusively designed with an emphasis on providing a uniform interface, configuration and application experience. This commonality reduces the user's learning curve, reducing commissioning time while simplifying support. All Millennium Series gateways support common features such as:
• A common form factor
• USB connectivity
• 4-wire RS-485 network
• Desktop, panel/wall and DIN-rail mountable
• Power can be supplied via the USB cable, as a 7-24VDC input on the main terminal block, or via IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (ETH-1000 only)

The heart of the Millennium Series product family is its 4kB internal database, which is addressable as a variety of data types. The database allows information to be routed from any supported network to any other supported network. Another fundamental aspect of the Millennium Series is the concept of a configurable "service object", which is used for any master/client protocol to describe what services are to be requested on an associated network.

The Microsoft Windowsฎ-based ICC Gateway Configuration Utility provides configuration and real-time database interaction capabilities via a USB connection. This all-encompassing software program allows the user to configure and interact with any Millennium Series gateway in a common manner, and allows the user to perform tasks such as:
• Configure protocols, network characteristics, and client/server object definitions
• Graphically interact with the internal database in real-time
• Automatically discover & configure IP settings for Ethernet gateways connected to the current subnet
• Update firmware
