Exele Increases Functionality of Alarm Management, Notification and Remote Monitoring Software

TopView® v6.7 adds SMS notification via GSM modem, SQL Server® alarm logging and integrated alarm history with the TopView Window and Remote Viewer

EAST ROCHESTER, New York, Jan. 28, 2010 - Exele Information Systems, an industry leader in alarm management, notification and remote monitoring software has announced major enhancements to their TopView® software suite with the release of v6.7. New features include SMS notification via GSM modem, SQL Server alarm logging and alarm history integration with the alarm displays.

"TopView now allows users to receive notification and acknowledge alarms through their mobile phones using SMS text messages over a GSM cellular network." noted Mike Fishman, Exele Co-Owner. "They can also query for current monitored measurements through their cell phones."

SQL Server alarm logging allows users to store TopView alarm history in Microsoft® SQL Server, providing a robust and standard storage mechanism for alarm history. This alarm history can feed TopView Alarm Reports as well as 3rd party reporting and querying tools which can now be used to access TopView alarm logs.

Local and remote displays now include Alarm History in addition to the current alarms. This integration allows easy access to both current and historical TopView alarm activity.
