AFDtek, formerly Fastek, Unveils New Name, Identity, Website

AFDtek is “Old Wine in a New Bottle” says Ashraf Ali, President of AFDtek, in reference to the fact that the company is still anchored by the three joint owners of the company who, together,have over 70 years of experience in the areas of building automation, systems integration and software development.

With a history of both software and hardware innovation, AFDtek can provide solutions based on off-the-shelf or purpose built technology. AFDtek has developed solutions in a diverse range of areas. Projects have included Windows based and embedded BACnet solutions for the Building Automation industry, financial transaction processing interfaces for the hospitality industry, mutual fund management software for the financial industry and test equipment for the nuclear industry.

Along with the name change, AFDtek has updated its corporate identity including a new website found at: www.afdtek.com. Effective immediately, all future business activity will be undertaken using the new name.

Fastek International Inc. was formed in 2002 with a core team of people who had previously worked together for many years at a major company in the Building Management Systems (BMS) market. The same people are the executive team of Fastek International Inc. today.

Fastek International Inc. remains as the holding company for AFDtek.
