BSRIA acquires Proplan

BSRIA recently aquired Proplan, global market research specialists in the building environmental controls, fire detection and security sector, from i&i Limited. Proplan's activities will continue as usual, enhanced by a larger research team and the increased global scope that BSRIA is able to provide.

All reports written by the Proplan team are still available and may be obtained from BSRIA, under the BSRIA Proplan brand, and new reports will be developed by the newly combined team of market researchers. Proplan's senior researcher, Jeremy Towler, has now joined BSRIA and will bring in-depth experience in all the controls sectors. BSRIA's own experts in this field, Gambi Chiang and Andrew Giles, will be working with Jeremy both on multiclient reports and consultancy assignments.

The industry will miss the input of Allan McHale, who is retiring from the business.
