Securing Buildings News

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is announcing an opportunity to collaborate in the research and development (R&D) of simulation and modeling tools in support of so-called Smart Grid applications. GridLAB-DTM is a power distribution system simulation environment, developed by the U.S. Department of Energy at PNNL, in collaboration with industry and academia. GridLAB-D incorporates advanced modeling techniques, high-performance algorithms, and support for high-performance computing systems to deliver the best possible tools for integrating end-use load modeling, distribution automation models, and integration tools for users of many power system analysis tools. GridLAB-D is designed to give researchers the ability to construct a modular simulation and extrapolation tool in an open source environment.   Visit http://gridwise.pnl.gov for more information.
