AHR Expo Innovation Awards

The AHR Expo Innovation Awards are given each year to recognize the most innovative HVAC&R products showcased at the AHR Expo. The competition is jointly sponsored by International Exposition Company, ASHRAE, and ARI. It is intended to encourage innovation and to provide vocational school scholarships for HVAC&R students.

All products exhibited in the 2007 AHR Expo are eligible, except those products that won AHR Expo Innovation Awards in previous years. Products that received honorable mention in previous years can re-enter the 2007 competition.

Winners of the 2007 awards wil be determined by a panel of judges, selected by ASHRAE Journal. The judges on the panel will be chosen based on their knowledge of the industry and its products.

Winners of the 2007 competition will be recognized at an awards ceremony at the AHR Expo in Dallas. Winners will receive the following:

Placards for their booths that designate their product as an AHR Expo Innovation Awards winner.

Awards suitable for display at their company headquarters.

An electronic image of the trophy useful for advertisements and other marketing material.

A feature in a special section of ASHRAE Journal.

The most innovative products among the thousands on display at the AHR Expo will be selected as winners in nine specific categories: Building Automation

• Cooling

• Green Building

• Heating

• Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

• Refrigeration

• Software

• Tools

• Ventilation
