ES Magazine:  We are very excited, as we have secured Jeff Harris, VP of Program Development at the Alliance to Save Energy, as our keynote speaker. Mr. Harris will explore the "Impact of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007", speaking about the incredible opportunity this Act presents to our industry! Sinclair:  What do you think will be most valuable to attendees?

ES Magazine:  We will provide you with the latest Green Intelligent Building information! ES Magazine:  Well, for starters, the name. The Green Intelligent Buildings Conference takes the place of its predecessor, the Building Automation Conference. This conference generally revolves around a theme of building automation and controls with an emphasis on intelligent buildings. And, intelligent buildings are a key to delivering on sustainability and green buildings. With that in mind, the conference places greater focus on the correlation between intelligent buildings and green buildings, both in name and in content.

Sinclair:  What companies or organizations are showing an interest in GIB?

ES Magazine:  There are many companies and organizations that have become a big part of our planning and why shouldn’t they be? This is going to be a time when the industry will be under one roof for two days. LONMARK International and CABA are Co-Hosts and BOMI & USGBC are supporters.
