Instructed by Ira Goldschmidt, P.E., LEEDŽ AP
New Program Starts May 9
This program is designed to help you get beyond the technical maze, and learn the specific facts and approaches you'll need to successfully specify interoperable DDC systems. You will also learn specification techniques that are applicable to either protocol, with specific examples about how these techniques apply to both BACnet and LONMARK.
PITFALLS & PROFITS IN PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING
Instructed by Dr. Shirley Hansen
New Program Starts May 14
Despite all its potential and many successes, performance contracting (PC) has had its share of pitfalls. While PC has been the critical answer to energy efficiency needs and tight money problems, sometimes difficulties are ignored or covered up. In some instances, problems have kept projects from saving the energy and/or the money promised. All too often simple steps could have avoided these very painful results. Dr. Shirley Hansen, who has been a strong advocate of PC for 25 years in over 30 countries, has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. In this course, she reveals many dilemmas facing customers and ESCOs, which could have been avoided.
