57 cities, 24 countries, 6000 expected visitors and a host of presentations from industry experts - the LonMark Sessions 2007 is ready to go. The series of free one-day educational seminars will run simultaneously in locations throughout Europe, North America and Asia between April and November 2007. The Tour will start in Seattle on 24 April, in Asia in Taipei on 30 May and in Europe in Tallin on 24 April. Full details about locations and dates can be found at www.lonmark.org/sessions.
The Tour is part of the LONMARK Connection Initiative, a global educational program presented by LonMark International, a non-profit industry trade association, that aims to help the controls and automation industries continue the transition from proprietary to open, integrated systems. The tour will focus on:
Improving efficiencies through system integration
Maintenance, operating, and training cost reductions
Leveraging IT infrastructure
Successful projects and market trends, and much more
Facility professionals around the globe are encouraged to attend. The seminars are free of charge and aimed at building owners, managers, architects and stake holders as well as engineers, system integrators and specifiers. Space for visitors is limited and participants are advised to register online at www.lonmark.org/sessions.
The highlight of the seminars is the chance to experience a live, online technology demonstration featuring dozens of LONMARK Certified devices from industry leading vendors that demonstrate a comprehensive, interoperable, integrated building solution.
Sponsors will be present to show the latest products, software, services, and solutions. Take advantage of this opportunity to ask the tough questions, network with the experts, and learn how to leverage their solutions within your organization.
Are you an industry professional looking for LONMARK certification? There will be the opportunity to take the new LONMARK Certified Professional examination at each location. This exam sets the standard for professional competency for engineers and integrators working with open, control systems. If you are interested in registering for the testing program please go to www.lonmark.org/testing.
