Utility Meter Data To Facilitate Time-of-Use Energy Management

In a drive to bring building energy management to everyone, Agilewaves is announcing new technology to extend its Building Optimization System™  to automatically collect data from electricity, gas and water utility meters.

The new solution can be used for Utilities Monitoring as a standalone application or integrate into the full Agilewaves building energy management system for building submetering, campus or portfolio energy management.

“There’s over 73 million AMR meters out there, and we can now address them,” says Peter Sharer, Agilewaves CEO. “It’s a great way to get started down the path to energy management starting with Utility Monitoring for time-of-use energy management.”

Ideal for retail stores, schools or military bases who want to shave utility costs, the solution is compatible with a wide range of utility meter manufacturers including: Itron, GE Energy, ABB, Elster, Landis+Gyr/Siemens & Hunt, Sangamo, Schlumberger, Sensus/Invensys and Westinghouse.
