LONMARK General Meeting

The annual LONMARK General Meeting will be held at the AHR Expo in Orlando, FL, on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. This annual meeting is open to all members and interested parties. The meeting will feature an overview of LONMARK's goals and objectives for 2009 and highlight the many programs we are introducing designed to build member value and increase your business. A members’ reception will follow from 5:30PM- 7:00PM. Meeting will be held at the Orange County Convention Center. Room S320D. We look forward to seeing you there.

Free Promotion of your LonWorks Technology Projects at AHR 2010!

We invite all members to submit their successful LonWorks technology projects for inclusion in the rotating presentation on display in the LonMark Americas booth #1126.

Help us illustrate the expanse of LonMark members and LonWorks technology throughout the world. To be included in the Case Studies and Member Successes presentation and handout, please submit the following information to Heather Deal at heather@lonmark.org by Friday, January 8, 2010. Submit as many projects as you would like.

LonMark Sessions Educational Sponsorships Still Available for AHR 2010

Promote your company and brand by sponsoring one of the eight LonMark Americas education seminars offered throughout AHR 2010. Choose the session that best suits your organization and gain exposure to those who are expressly interested in gaining a significant understanding of LonWorks open systems. LonMark Sessions last between 50 and 90 minutes each.

Open Integrated Systems: A Case for Total Facility Control – This session will focus on the value of system integration, introduce the master system integrator concept, present a unified controls and IT system infrastructure, and explore various options for system management and applications.

12:00 – 1:30 p.m.
Lunch & Learn: LonWorks Open Systems Case Studies – Successful systems integrators will share their best practices and lessons learned from a variety of LonWorks technology enabled projects ranging from sustainable renovations to LEED-certified, multi-campus installations.

3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Who is specifying the LonWorks technology and Why? (Panel Session) - Listen to end user experiences and the deciding factors and considerations made for the use of the LonWorks technology throughout their facilities and campuses.

Wednesday, January 27
9:00 – 9:50 a.m.
Powering the Smart Grid with the LonWorks technology and RF Wireless Technology

LonMark Americas and the EnOcean Alliance will highlight multiple interoperable products and investigate real world case studies to examine how these technologies mesh within buildings.
