TAIPEI, Taiwan -- 20 May 2010 -- Artila Electronics Co., Ltd., an emerging force in the embedded computer solutions field, announced availability of the Matrix-604, a WinCE 6.0 ready industrial box computer based on the new ATMEL ARM9 SoC.

Matrix-604 is equipped with ATMEL AT91SAM9G20 400MHz SoC, 64MB SDRAM, 128MB NAND Flash memory and I/O peripherals which include Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, programmable digital I/O and USB ports. WinCE 6.0 is preinstalled in the NAND Flash memory and the SDK for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 is available for userís application development. C/C++, C# and programming language are supported by Matrix-604 SDK and the integrated development environment (IDE) of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 can maximize programmerís productivity.

PlantPROCORE Matrix-604 provides comprehensive network capabilities such as web, Telnet and FTP server. In addition, the Remote Display Control of WinCE is also supported to allow user develop a graphic user interface for the headless device like Matrix-604. For critical application that needs 7/24/365 operation, Matrix-604 provides a failover mechanism by using the on board DataFlash to recover the file system when the NAND Flash does crash and fails to boot.

- One 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port
- Four 921.6 Kbps RS-232/422/485 ports

- Compact 78x108x24 mm design
- Ultra low power consumption, less than 3W
