Schwerin – Germany, October 4, 2011   -   Trebing + Himstedt Processautomation GmbH & Co. KG announces they will be opening a subsidiary in the United States effective January 1, 2012 to support Sales and Service activities in North and South America.  Initially only focusing on the US market, Trebing + Himstedt in the US will provide local Sales and Application support in addition to local inventory supporting the US market. 

In the Industrial Communications business unit, Trebing + Himstedt offers Industrial Communication Solutions and Services for Fieldbus and Ethernet networks.  Trebing + Himstedt’s Network Diagnostics and Asset Management focus increases availability of industrial networks and is used from the commissioning phase right through to the supporting maintenance of daily operations.  Being manufacturer and control system neutral, Trebing + Himstedt’s solutions enable continuous access to all levels of the communication network – even in complex automation structures.

Additionally, Trebing + Himstedt has asked Victor Wolowec to help establish the US subsidiary and have named him General Manager of US Operations in the interim.  Victor brings a broad range of Sales and Marketing experience in the Industrial Automation Communications market and a vast amount of Operations and Logistics knowledge to help establish the subsidiary.  In this new capacity, Victor will also start supporting the currently established sales channel in addition to filling out the coverage for the rest of the US.
