Version 3.0 Delivers Advanced Modeling, Improved Portfolio Manager Integration and Customer-Driven Usability Improvements

PORTLAND, Ore. – September 14, 2010 — AirAdvice, the leading developer of cutting edge technology and programs for improving buildings’ energy efficiency and performance, launched a comprehensive upgrade to its BuildingAdvice commercial energy efficiency platform Monday, Sept. 13. This upgrade highlights usability and feature enhancement designed to streamline inputting building energy use information and execution of report generation.

“This third major enhancement to BuildingAdvice really completes the facelift that started with our move to the Building Data Management System (BDMS) earlier this year,” said Lucas Klesh, Product and Building Expert. “It focuses in on many of the feature requests from our customers, by utilizing great innovations from our development team.”

contemporary Enhanced data analyzation through BuildingAdvice’s wireless server technology adds value where users of BuildingAdvice’s energy services platform need it. Through BuildingAdvice’s user interface, HVAC technicians gain access to commercial building data and report generation to provide building owners and managers with accurate, cost saving information about a building’s energy usage. A few of the new features of the upgrade include:

Streamlined Data Input - new ‘Benchmark Upload’ capability allows customers to input information quickly, and features enhanced help mechanisms based on most frequent questions from customers
Dynamic Report Generation - new validation and prompting system prompts and guides customers through the Energy Services Report Process
Advanced Modeling - Ability to describe specific heating and cooling systems and multiple fuel and electricity meter
Portfolio Manager Integration - Support for ENERGY STAR’s new data center space type and IT sub-metering
