This year's theme is "Building Communication Infrastructures." Industry experts will come together to present on topics relating to the various OPC specifications, OPC Tunneling technology and other new developments, as well discussing the role OPC will play in the future as the connectivity standard gains in popularity.

"We look forward to growing the global OPC community," says Randy Kondor, Matrikon's OPC Product Manager. "OPC is a proven technology for both process and discrete industries across all verticals. While there have been events to pull developers together, this is the first such event targeted at integrators and end-users."

The two-day event will feature a product showcase where OPC vendors and OPC-related technologies will be exhibited, presentations and discussions of case studies by end-users, keynote presentations from industry experts, and social events.
