Workshop on Defining the Pathway to the California Smart Grid of 2020

RFP Contracting Opportunity Notice (CON 500-08-501)

The Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) Program staff will conduct a public workshop to seek comments prior to releasing the Defining the Pathway to the California Smart Grid of 2020 Request for Proposals (RFP). The release date for the RFP is scheduled for 4-6 weeks from this Contracting Opportunity Notice (CON) workshop. PIER is beginning a substantial research effort into understanding what role PIER, the Energy Commission, and other California agencies should play in the future California Smart Grid efforts. The workshop will be held at the following location:
