ZigBee Alliance Discusses Smart Energy at Connectivity Week

ZigBee Alliance, a global ecosystem of companies creating standardized wireless solutions for use in energy management, commercial and consumer applications, will address solutions to the growing need for energy management at this year’s Connectivity Week in Santa Clara, Calif. (June 8-11). ZigBee Alliance chairman, Bob Heile, is available to discuss how ZigBee technology is enabling companies, utilities and consumers to get more control over their energy management and consumption.

ZigBee Alliance chairman Bob Heile will lead a session called “ZigBee Smart Energy Devices,” (6/10; 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) in which he will explore how ZigBee Smart Energy Devices allow customers to take control of their energy consumption in their homes and on a larger scale how ZigBee enabled devices are being used in the creation of a Smart Grid. Bob Heile will also participate in the panel “Customer Experience & Use Cases Become Reality” (6/10; 4 – 5:30 p.m.) where industry leaders who have deployed ZigBee networks and/or products and services to manage energy will share their experiences.
