Belimo Launches SelectPro™ a New Valve Selection Tool

Danbury, Connecticut - Belimo Americas, the leading producer of electronic valves and air damper actuators, announces the launch of SelectPro™, the company’s unique and powerful sizing and selection software. The tool is the most easy-to-use, complete, and accurate tool on the market. SelectPro™ employs industry standard sizing equations to specify Belimo control valves.

Offering detailed valve specification information, such as materials, accessories, actuators and other options in its database, SelectPro™ provides contractors with the tool to size and select valves for a complete project. The program is organized using a form field system that allows users to quickly and easily add and alter the many options required for a valve application.

SelectPro™ includes support for 462 individual valve models and 237 actuator models. The program features a built-in pricing module and offers a complete data interface to the Belimo shopping online function. SelectPro™ can also export data to .XLS or .BEL (Belimo file format for easy upload ordering) file.

When sizing a valve, the SelectPro™ process begins by recording pertinent data, such as pipe diameters, flow rates, valve patterns, and other required process conditions. Inputs can be changed at any time, allowing users to quickly edit project details and immediately see the results.
