Smart Grid remains an extremely hot topic and remains so with the implementation of American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) Smart Grid projects. These ARRA Smart Grid are making it even more clear what success looks like when the Smart Building Meets the Smart Grid. These will be two educational sessions with national leaders in the smart grid industry.

The first session 10:30-11:30am on Monday, Jan.31 will provide a high level status report on the evolving smart grid standard activity and an update on critical developments that will affect the HVACR industry. The second session 11:00 - 12 on Tuesday, Feb.1 focuses on Smart Grid Success Stories that leverage a wide range of efficiency, renewable energy and smart grid technology to demonstrate the future for energy and buildings. These presentations are not limited to ARRA funded projects because the true thought leaders in the industry are using a variety of funding sources to develop and implement these projects.
