Brad is President of SES Consulting and a Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, low carbon technologies, and smart building systems. He has demonstrated his passion for the sustainable use of energy throughout his professional career and this continues to be a driving force in his work. Brad works closely with clients to integrate leading edge technologies and energy conservation strategies into existing buildings; these can include fault detection and analytics, electrification of heating systems, and advanced controls.
Brad is a Contributing Editor to AutomatedBuildings.com and a member of the City of Vancouver's Technical Advisory Committee on Existing Multi-Unit Residential and Commercial Buildings.

Marc Petock

Marc is a pioneer and leader in guiding the Intelligent/Smart Buildings and IoT movements and pushing them forward.
Currently, as Vice President, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Lynxspring, Marc leads corporate marketing strategy, product planning direction and defines and implements the marketing programs and initiatives as well as the budgets and people that support them. In addition, he is responsible for creating the company’s corporate and product brand positions, their evolution and the communications that support them.
He also serves as a spokesperson and industry thought leader, often speaking at conferences, and regularly contributing to industry articles and papers. Marc is an advisor to the Realcomm Organization, serves on the Board of Directors for the Project Haystack Organization and is a founding member of the “Monday Live” Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Lynxspring.
Prior to joining Lynxspring, Marc was Vice President of Global Marketing at Tridium, where he was instrumental in building the Niagara Framework into the platform and operating system of choice for the built environment.
Marc’s career began by leading the technology practices for marketing, consulting, and advertising firms.
Over the years, Marc been recognized with several industry accolades, including a “Who’s Who” from M2M Magazine; a Niagara Community Spirit Award; the “Petock Award”, an annual award named in his honor; Realcomm’s Top 35 People to Watch, a Digital Impact Award (Digie), and the Realcomm|IBcon 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award. He also is an inductee into the Controls Industry Hall of Fame.

Scott Cochrane is President and CEO of Cochrane Supply & Engineering, a leading Smart Building Controls Supplier with locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Texas, as well as an affiliate in Ontario called Canada Controls. Scott earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business with minors in Marketing and Finance from Eastern Michigan University and holds an additional minor in HVAC Technologies from Macomb Community College. In 2000, he took over the business from his father, Donald Cochrane, Sr., who founded the company in 1967. Scott is an IBcon Digital Impact Award Winner for going above and beyond to positively impact the smart building industry, as well as a winner of the ControlTrends Impact Person of the Year Award and Distributor Executive of the Year Award for his contributions to the industry.
